Are you an experienced, hands-on HR Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume operational environment? Get Recruited is proud to be partnering with a growing group business based in Trafford Park. As the organisation continues to expand, they are seeking a confident and commercially focused HR Manager to lead its operational HR function, manage a small HR team and provide expert support across the wider business. This is a highly visible, on-site role where you'll work closely with managers and employees, take ownership of complex employee relations matters and deliver practical HR solutions. As HR Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day HR function across the group, ensuring managers receive clear, commercially focused advice and all people processes remain compliant, consistent and effective.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Lead and manage employee relations matters across the group, ensuring best practice and compliance with UK employment legislation
- Advise, coach and support managers on performance management, employment law, HR policies and procedures
- Manage complex casework including disciplinary and grievance processes, absence management, TUPE transfers, organisational restructures and consultation
- Lead, motivate and develop a small HR team, monitoring workloads and maintaining an efficient, high-quality service
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, induction, probation, performance reviews, employee development and offboarding
- Support accurate HR administration and assist the team with payroll-related queries
- Review, update and implement HR policies, processes and procedures
- Promote employee wellbeing, welfare, engagement and recognition initiatives
- Provide operational managers with practical support on day-to-day people matters
- Manage HR, ATS and scheduling systems, supporting new system implementations where required
- Drive continuous improvement across the HR department and ensure the function remains visible, approachable and engaged
