THE LEAD GENERATION EXECUTIVE ROLE:
As the Lead Generation Executive, you'll manage the opening stages of the sales cycle, identifying opportunities, contacting potential customers and booking meetings for the field-based sales team. The company already receives strong website traffic, with up to 100+ new enquiries and visits in a week from across the UK and Europe. You'll have plenty of contacts, warm opportunities and untapped markets to work with from day one. The business currently supplies mainly through distributors but is now looking to reach more end users and promote new product ranges across the construction, landscaping, gardening and trade sectors. This isn't a scripted call-centre role. The Lead Generation Executive will be encouraged to bring ideas, test new approaches and make the position their own. There will also be opportunities to support product launches, demonstrations, social media activity and potential TikTok campaigns.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Taking ownership of outbound Lead Generation activity
- Contacting prospective customers by phone, email and LinkedIn
- Following up website traffic, enquiries and potential customer data
- Introducing new product ranges to distributors and end users
- Sending brochures, product information and marketing materials
- Identifying decision-makers and uncovering commercial opportunities
- Booking qualified meetings for the Business Development and field sales team
- Recording all Lead Generation activity accurately using Salesforce
- Supporting product launches and new routes to market
- Attending occasional customer visits and industry events
- Contributing ideas for digital campaigns, demonstrations and social media
- Helping the company expand into new industries, regions and European markets
ABOUT YOU:
We're looking for a confident and proactive Lead Generation Executive who enjoys speaking with people and creating opportunities. You'll ideally have experience as a Lead Generation Executive, Sales Development Representative, Telesales Executive, Business Development Executive, Internal Sales Executive or similar sales professional.
- Confidence making outbound calls and starting new conversations
- A positive, resilient and motivated approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to qualify prospects and book meetings
- Good organisation and follow-up skills
- A commercially minded and target-driven attitude
- The confidence to suggest new ideas and take ownership
- Salesforce or CRM experience would be beneficial but isn't essential
- Experience within manufacturing, construction, building products, landscaping, gardening, tools or trade supplies would be useful, but the company is open to different sectors.
WHAT'S ON OFFER:
- Competitive salary
- Bonus for generating new customers and commercial opportunities
- 28 days' holiday plus bank holidays
- NEST pension
- Company mobile phone and laptop
- Monday to Thursday, 8:00am-5:00pm
- Early finish every Friday at 3:00pm
