Senior Account Handler - Liverpool - Up to £50,000 - 4 Day Working Week
Join a Chartered, independently owned broker with over 50 years of combined experience - and become a key part of a client-focused team that takes real pride in the service it delivers. This is a role for an experienced handler who's ready to take on greater responsibility across a commercial and corporate client base. You'll work closely with Account Executives, manage your own accounts on a direct basis, and play a central role in delivering best-in-class service across a varied and interesting portfolio.

- Cert/Dip CII qualified or actively working towards it
- Minimum 7-10 years' experience in the insurance industry
- Proven operational and client liaison experience within insurance
- Strong IT skills across Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- SSP Pure Software experience beneficial but not essential
- Excellent organisational skills - comfortable managing multiple enquiries simultaneously
- Calm under pressure, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine awareness of client needs, business issues and insurance programmes
What you'll be doing:
- Managing and growing a portfolio of commercial and corporate client accounts
- Supporting Account Executives across placement strategy, renewals and general insurance queries
- Preparing and submitting accurate market presentations
- Analysing quotes, negotiating cover and premiums with insurers
- Handling MTAs and preparing client reports for renewal and ad hoc projects
- Acting as a direct point of contact for day-to-day client queries on designated accounts
- Producing insurer documentation in line with legislative and regulatory requirements
- Keeping up to date with market conditions and sharing relevant insights with clients and colleagues
