Are you an experienced Office Manager, Senior Administrator or Business Support Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, corporate environment? Do you enjoy leading a team, keeping a busy office running smoothly and being the go-to person for everything from facilities to administration?
We're recruiting for an Office Manager to join a well-established organisation with around 850 employees, supporting approximately 100 people from its head office. Reporting to the Executive Assistant to the CEO, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day running of the office while leading a small Business Support team.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone currently working as an Office Manager, Senior Office Administrator, Business Support Manager, Administration Manager, Office & Facilities Coordinator or similar who has experience managing people within a larger organisation.
The Office Manager / Senior Administrator Role:
- Managing the day-to-day operation of a busy corporate office
- Leading, motivating and developing a team of two Business Support Administrators
- Overseeing reception, meeting rooms and the overall office environment
- Coordinating office maintenance, repairs, security access and facilities issues
- Managing office supplies, uniforms, PPE and consumables
- Acting as Fire Coordinator and supporting office health & safety procedures
- Supporting senior leaders with meeting coordination, diaries, travel arrangements and events where required
- Preparing reports, presentations, agendas and meeting minutes
- Maintaining records, archiving and document management processes
- Supporting governance, compliance and office administration activities
- Monitoring office-related financial processes and ensuring compliance with internal procedures
About You:
- Previous experience as an Office Manager, Business Support Manager, Senior Administrator, Administration Manager or similar
- Experience managing or supervising an administrative team
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to deal with stakeholders at all levels
- Good Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience working within a structured, corporate or large organisational environment
- A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach
- High levels of professionalism, discretion and attention to detail
