You'll manage a diverse portfolio ranging from £5,000 policies through to clients with GWP of £400,000, provide hands-on support and mentorship to less experienced brokers, and act as the Branch Director's right hand in driving the team forward.

Salary: Up to £50,000

Location: Coventry

Working pattern: Primarily office based - flexible working available where required

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing and developing a broad mid-market commercial book across a wide range of risk sizes and classes
  • Acting as number two to the Branch Director - supporting the leadership and direction of the broking team
  • Providing mentorship, technical guidance and day-to-day support to less experienced brokers
  • Broking risks to market and securing the best outcomes for clients across the full premium range
  • Working closely with the Branch Director on team performance, workflow and development
  • Maintaining high standards of compliance, accuracy and client service throughout
