A leading independent accountancy firm in Manchester is continuing to invest in the tax team and are now looking to recruit a Senior Tax Advisor with OMB and Private Client experience. This is a great opportunity, you'll be joining a well-established practice that has grown significantly in recent years and continues to build momentum. The tax work is broad, technical, and advisory-heavy, with clients often requiring joined up advice across both personal and business affairs.

As a Senior Tax Advisor you'll be involved with:

  • OMB and entrepreneur tax planning
  • Group restructures and reconstructions
  • Succession planning and IHT mitigation
  • Trusts and family wealth planning
  • CGT planning and transactional support
  • Property-related structuring
  • Share schemes and incentives
  • EIS / VCT investment advice
  • Residence and cross-border considerations

You'll work closely with Partners and senior stakeholders, with plenty of client exposure and autonomy from day one. While there's scope to get involved in business development, the role is primarily focused on delivering strong technical advice and building trusted long-term relationships.

You'll ideally have:

  • Strong tax advisory experience (personal tax or mixed tax background)
  • Proven ability to draft technical advice letters, reports and planning notes
  • A recognised qualification (CTA, ACA, ACCA, ICAS or similar)
  • Confidence dealing directly with clients, Partners and HMRC
  • A professional, relationship-led approach
