Get Recruited is supporting an established organisation to recruit a Social Media Executive. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing marketing and communications team, where you'll have room to contribute ideas and develop your skills.

This would be a fantastic opportunity for a Social Media Executive, Social Media Assistant, Digital Marketing Executive, Digital Marketing Assistant, Marketing Coordinator or Marketing Apprentice looking to take the next step in their career.

THE ROLE:

  • Plan and maintain the social media content calendar, with LinkedIn as a key channel.
  • Write, schedule and publish engaging content, supporting a busy schedule of approximately three posts per day.
  • Use Hootsuite or similar tools to programme activity and monitor performance.
  • Create graphics and digital assets using Canva.
  • Help develop video content, including basic editing, sound adjustments and adding branded frames.
  • Monitor engagement and suggest ways to improve content.
  • Work closely with colleagues to promote services, events and organisational updates.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Around one year's practical experience in social media, content or digital marketing.
  • Currently working as a Social Media Executive, Social Media Assistant, Digital Marketing Executive, Digital Marketing Assistant, Marketing Coordinator or Marketing Apprentice
  • Experience gained through employment, an internship, a placement or work alongside your studies.
  • Confident writing for professional audiences, particularly on LinkedIn.
  • Comfortable using Canva and social media scheduling tools.
  • Basic video editing skills and enthusiasm for developing these further.
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage a busy content calendar.
