We are seeking a Senior Marketing Analyst (Data Scientist III) with deep expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud and advanced SQL to join a high-impact Marketing Analytics team supporting Business Messaging initiatives. This role will focus on building and scaling audience segmentation capabilities to power data-driven marketing campaigns reaching millions of customers. The ideal candidate is highly technical, hands-on with large-scale datasets, and experienced in partnering cross-functionally to develop scalable audience systems and reporting pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain complex audience segments in Salesforce Data Cloud
- Develop Calculated Insights using advanced SQL
- Identify and define audience signals to drive targeted marketing campaigns
- Activate audience segments to marketing automation platforms
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to design and enhance data pipelines supporting marketing systems
- Ensure reliable data flow into reporting and segmentation environments
- Maintain and optimize large-scale datasets (millions of records)
Analytics & Reporting
- Develop automated reporting solutions and self-service dashboards
- Monitor campaign performance and key marketing KPIs
- Size revenue opportunities through segmentation analysis
- Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies across systems
Business Translation
- Translate marketing requirements into technical audience definitions
- Partner with campaign managers on complex audience builds
- Present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data science, data engineering, or related field
- Expert-level SQL skills (CTEs, window functions, query optimization, large dataset handling)
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud or similar CDP platforms
- Experience building audience signals and segmentation frameworks
- Proven collaboration with Data Engineering teams on pipeline development
- Experience automating reports and building self-service dashboards
- Proficiency in Tableau or similar visualization tools
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Basic Python knowledge for automation and APIs
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
- Familiarity with CRM data structures and account-level models
