Overall Purpose
Responsible for delivery of statutory, lender and investor reporting. Key contact for the year end audit process. Responsible for completion of month end in line with the reporting timetable, including preparation of the group consolidation and analysis. Quarterly preparation of debt compliance and investor reporting. Day to day cashflow management and forecasting including equity/debt drawdowns.

Internal: Finance, Real Estate, other GL teams as required
External: Auditors, Tax Advisors, Lenders, Investors
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Year End:
- Play a role in preparing the annual report, in addition to being a key contact for external auditors, responding to queries and providing supporting schedules where necessary.
- Prepare workings and supporting papers for technical accounting issues and transactions.
- Prepare information and analysis required by tax advisors.
Month End:
- Prepare/review journals in Yardi and support the team on the month end close process.
- Prepare/review monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare the group consolidation and relevant analysis.
Other:
- Assist with preparation of debt compliance reporting for external loan facilities, closely monitoring covenant compliance and headroom.
- Prepare reporting packs for investors and respond to ad hoc queries.
- Work with the Assistant Group Financial Controller to manage cashflow requirements, including debt and equity drawdowns, and intercompany debt structures.
- Manage direct reports, supporting their career development and reviewing their work.
- Ability to design and implement processes to support a strong financial control environment.

Qualifications & Experience
- Fully qualified accountant
- University degree (minimum 2:1)
- Audit background
- c. 3 years’ experience
- Preparation of statutory financial statements
- Preparation of group consolidation
