The Yardi Support Specialist is a pivotal role in supporting and improving Get Living’s Yardi Platform. The Yardi Support Specialist will be involved in enhancing and upgrading the Yardi platform; it meets business needs and operates efficiently including documenting processes, training needs and supporting Yardi across the business.
The Yardi Support Specialist will be responsible for system administration including ERP, property management, residential, commercial and maintenance systems. The Yardi Support Specialist will be an expert-level super and responsible for requirements gathering, business and systems process mapping and detailed system requirements.
To succeed in this role, you must be highly organized, detail oriented and motivated with ambition. In addition, you should have a technical and analytical background and way of thinking while also being able to explain complex concepts to non-technical users.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Ensure all Yardi system business processes are maintained, documented and reviewed on a regular basis.
Maintains and administers Yardi One, Yardi Voyager, Site Manager, CRM Flex & RentCafé systems and databases, ensuring data integrity and the standardisation of procedures and practices alongside legislative changes. - Design, develop, and maintain custom reports, tasks and scripts within the Yardi platform.
Leads and/or participate in the due diligence and property set up process by completing systems conversions and/or set-up of new properties. - Lead on systems upgrades, new modules, third-party app integrations, enhancements, testing and installations in accordance with the established change management process.
- Work closely with Yardi to ensure that the databases are managed, maintenance and support in accordance with best practices.
- Provide support for Yardi Voyager, analysing issues and problems related to software systems and programs, and determining and implementing appropriate solutions, training, or maintenance, as necessary.
- Prepares and executes Voyager ETLs in the appropriate sequence.
- Manage all onboarding/offboarding, security and permissions, adhering to strict security controls and defined access requests.
- Analyses business requirements and write appropriate YSR reports.
- Participate as a technical resource in projects and give valuable input into system configuration, database, data and other options to deliver a best-in-class solution.
- Work closely with the Yardi Helpdesk/CSD Teams including reviewing of data fixes, open cases, refresh and maintain databases, to ensure efficient resolution.
- Manages any ad-hoc database changes, as requested and in line with standard procedures governing the database once tested and approved.
- Maintains systems and databases for existing and new properties by entering data, running reports, and performing audits as necessary.
- Develops technical documents, user support and technical manuals to support systems and training.
- Completes various financial, accounting, administrative and other reports and analysis or other duties as assigned or as necessary.
- Gathers requirements, writes test scripts and performs system testing with the business prior to implementation.
- Perform root cause analysis and problem solve complex issues.
- Train users and maintain system documentation.
- Research and recommend new features or applications to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth system operations.
- Stay current on Yardi product updates and new features.
- Experience in the Real Estate industry.
- Familiarity with SaaS integrations and SharePoint Online, Power Bi.
- ITIL or PMP certification.
- Experience working in a DevOps environment.
- Experience working with core Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience of helpdesk ticketing/system support services.
- Understanding of accounting principles.
