12-month Fixed Term Contract Hours: 40 hours per week Days: Five days per week across Mondays to Saturdays, inc. Bank Holidays Shifts: 8am – 5pm or 11am – 5pm on a rota basis

Overall Purpose

The Leasing Associate acts as the face of Get Living and plays a key role in the commercial performance of the neighbourhood, ensuring targets are met to maintain optimal occupancy.

The Leasing Associate takes prospective clients on the journey from initial enquiry through to completion - delivering a high standard of customer service.

Key Relationships

Internal: Neighbourhood team, wider Get Living team, business support functions, Management company

External: Residents, prospective customers, property management companies, third party suppliers

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Primary, customer facing representative of Get Living for all current and prospective clients, ensuring they receive an exemplary experience from first enquiry to move-in and on to an enduring residency experience.
  • Consistently hit and exceed sales goals for pricing, occupancy and revenue, and contribute towards achieving team quotas.
  • Qualify enquiries and match requirements to available homes across the neighbourhood.
  • Negotiate new moves, home upgrades, home transfers, and renewals with current residents and new applicants.
  • Diary management to conduct tours and other responsibilities.

Accompany prospective clients on tours, articulating the Get Living story and promoting the key reasons clients should choose our homes.

  • Use IT systems effectively to the benefit of our residents and teams.
  • Manage and document the leasing journey using CRM system and software.
  • Regularly monitor websites where Get Living property is advertised to check how many properties are online and for how long.

Ensure properties are presented accurately on both Get Living website and Rightmove.

  • Challenge clients to think differently and enlighten them about Get Living’s unique, service orientated way of renting.
  • Efficiently obtain documentation from clients to ensure a speedy handover to the Customer Hub team.
  • Strive to deliver nothing short of outstanding customer service at every interaction with clients.
  • Continuously develop positive relationships across the neighbourhood and central teams by working collaboratively.
  • Constantly seek opportunities to improve personal performance. Drive for personal success and inspire others to achieve goals.
  • Participate in all relevant learning and development opportunities, keeping knowledge updated at all times.
  • Ensure all work complies with the relevant legislation.
  • Actively participate in resident events.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in customer service and a similar leasing / lettings role in residential property
  • Build to rent (BTR) experience (desirable)
  • Knowledge of the sales cycle (essential)
  • Experience of using CRM tools
  • Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word etc).
