Permanent position, 8am - 4pm (35 hours a week) Monday to Friday, 20 days + 8 bank holidays.
As a Workshop Operative, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our workshop. This position is ideal for individuals with an interest in woodworking and a desire to learn and grow in a growing manufacturing environment.
What you’ll be doing?
- Preparing and organising materials for production, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Managing a pipeline of works orders through machines.
- Programming and setting the machines as required.
- Monitoring the quality of the work being processed.
- Ensuring the machinery is kept in working order.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment and following all Health and Safety policies.
- Liaising with the Production Manager to ensure production is on track.

- No woodworking experience required! (although that would be great too).
- A positive attitude and a good team player, being able to quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment, an eagerness to learn and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to produce high-quality work.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy materials.
