As a Workshop Operative, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our workshop. This position is ideal for individuals with an interest in woodworking and a desire to learn and grow in a growing manufacturing environment.
What youβll be doing?
Reporting to the Production Manager you will be expected to:
Prepare and organise materials for production, ensuring they meet quality standards.
Managing a pipeline of works orders through machines
Programming and setting the machines as required
Monitoring the quality of the work being processed
Ensuring the machinery is kept in working order
Maintaining a clean and safe environment and following all Health and Safety policies
Liaising with the Production Manager to ensure production is on track

No woodworking experience required! (although that would be great too). What we do look for is:
A positive attitude and a good team player, being able to quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment, an eagerness to learn and a strong work ethic.
Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to produce high-quality work
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy materials.
