North East Dance CIC is seeking a visionary Creative Director(28 hours/week | £26,208) to lead an exciting new Heritage Lottery-fundedinitiative celebrating Sunderland’s rich dance heritage.
Location: Sunderland & North East
Hours: 28 hours per week
Salary: £26,208 actual per annum
Term: Fixed-term (Heritage Fund Grant Dependent)

This is a unique opportunity to shape a groundbreakingcommunity heritage project exploring movement, identity, migration, andcultural storytelling through dance.
You will lead the artistic vision and creative delivery,working closely with communities, heritage experts and partners to co-createperformances, workshops, oral histories and performance events.
A key part of this role will be to ensure the projectdelivers and maintains strong heritage outcomes and measurable impact, in linewith Heritage Lottery Fund objectives and organisational values.
We are looking for an innovative, collaborative creativeleader with experience in participatory arts, community engagement, andinclusive practice.
This is a North East-based / community-focused role
