Aboutthe role
Thisis an exciting opportunity to play an important role in a charity where financedirectly supports care.
Working closely with the Director of Finance, you willhelp with financial planning, management accounts, performance reporting, budgeting and decision-making across the organisation.
Youwill support budget holders to understand their financial information, provideclear and useful reports, and contribute to the ongoing development of ourfinance systems, processes and controls.
The role also offers the chance towork with senior leaders and get involved in both strategic and day-to-dayfinance activity.
Hoursand working pattern
Thisrole is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
We can be very flexible about howthese hours are worked, and we are happy to discuss a working pattern thatsuits both you and the needs of the service.
Therole is hybrid, with a mix of working from home and working in our Central Support Service office (S5).
There will also be some travel between Sheffcarelocations across Sheffield.

- ·Preparingaccurate monthly management accounts, reports and variance analysis.
- ·Supportingbudgeting, forecasting and year-end processes.
- ·Helpingbudget holders understand financial information and make informed decisions.
- ·Maintainingstrong financial controls, reconciliations and records.
- ·Supportingincome, billing and credit control processes where needed.
- ·Contributingto the development of finance policies, procedures and reporting systems.
- ·Workingclosely with the Director of Finance and acting as deputy when required.
- Whatwe are looking for
Weare looking for someone who is fully qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA and has strongexperience in management accounting, financial analysis, reconciliations andsupporting budget holders.
Justas importantly, we are looking for someone who is caring, compassionate andeasy to work with.
You will need to build positive relationships, explainfinance clearly to non-finance colleagues, and fit well into a supportive teamthat works together to make a difference.
Youwill also need strong Excel skills, confidence working with data, goodattention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidentialinformation appropriately.
Experiencein a charity or social care setting would be helpful, but it is not essential.

Thesalary for this role is £32,432.43 to £36,486.48 per year, depending onexperience. This is a full time equivalent of £40,000 to £45,000.
