Gabrieli is an internationally recognised choir and period instrument orchestra with an enviable reputation built on over 40 years of award-winning recordings and critically-acclaimed performances. Our education programme, Gabrieli Roar, has expanded rapidly over the last decade. Working in partnership with youth, school and church choirs nationwide, we are one of the leading providers of choral singing opportunities for young people. Next year we will work with 8000 young people from Truro to Glasgow, as well as maintaining a busy diary of international professional performances.
Throughout its history, Gabrieli has operated on project-to-project funding, but this changed in 2024 when we were fortunate to secure our first significant core funding, with a grant of £1,000,000 over five years from The Vinehill Trust. We have built a portfolio of loyal Trust and Foundation funders and are increasing our Major Donor support year-on-year. We are not a National Portfolio Organisation but receive frequent Project Grant support, and have recently increased the level of this support.
During the past year, investments in evaluation and philanthropy consultancies have strengthened our fundraising and advocacy, preparing for planned growth in our fundraising. We are seeking a relationship fundraiser to join our small, committed team. You will specialise in building relationships with individuals and trusts, and in delivering a demanding schedule of grant bids to increase our very successful portfolio of funders. You will be warmly supported by our Chief Executive, an experienced fundraiser, and a skilled, dedicated board with significant expertise in fundraising amongst its trustees.
The role is available on a full time or 0.8 contract; we work remotely with frequent meetings at our London office at King’s Place.
