Queen Alexandra College (QAC) is seeking an enthusiastic Fundraising Officer to support a wide range of fundraising initiatives, with a strong focus on events. The role is full‑time at 37 hours per week (part‑time considered), includes 7.2 weeks of annual leave, and requires a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Research, promote, and administer challenge‑based fundraising events.
  • Assist in running campaigns and support internal and external fundraising initiatives.
  • Communicate with participants and supporters; prepare thank‑you communications; maintain GDPR‑compliant stewardship.
  • Collect case studies, monitor JustGiving activity, and help produce promotional materials.
  • Identify new fundraising opportunities and collaborate across the Fundraising Team.
  • Respond to enquiries and attend networking opportunities.
  • Assist with office operations and maintain donor relationships.
  • Accurately record information in the CRM system.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying workloads and event schedules.

Person Specification

Essential attributes include an interest in the charity sector, creativity, teamwork, independence, strong communication skills, reliability, willingness to learn, and the ability to manage deadlines. Desirable skills include strong IT competence, experience with design software, production of fundraising materials, and participation in fundraising events.
