Get Golfing CIO is seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our team at Redlibbets Golf Club for weekend support. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our kitchen, ensuring it meets all health and safety standards. You will work alongside a team of experienced chefs and kitchen staff, gaining valuable experience and knowledge of the food and beverage industry.
£12.21 per hour, with a requirement for weekend shifts and flexibility during the week, as per the needs of the business.
Responsibilities- Ensuring all kitchen equipment and utensils are washed, dried, and put away properly
- Maintaining high levels of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
- Helping with the preparation and plating of dishes
- Assisting with stock control and ensuring all deliveries are stored correctly
- Reporting all maintenance issues to the kitchen manager
- Monitoring food waste and ensuring it is disposed of safely and correctly
- Assisting the chefs with basic food preparation tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills and an ability to work well in a team
- Willingness to maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene
- Good timekeeping and organisational skills
- Previous kitchen experience preferred, but not essential
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings. 2x 6hr shifts across weekends, 2x 4hr shifts Monday - Friday (depending on business need)
