About Get Golfing
Get Golfing CIO, established in 2018, exists to improve lives through golf and to directly benefit the communities in which we operate. We do this in a number of key ways:
- Reducing barriers to entry into golf (and increasing the health and wellbeing benefits that brings)
- Creating more inclusive environments at our venues
- Utilising our venues and expertise to benefit local communities and charities
At all of our venues, we're committed to creating a welcoming environment where everyone (both staff and customers alike) feels valued and empowered. We run 13 golf courses and venues in England. Our courses are at the centre of what we do and producing an excellent golfing experience for members and visitors alike is a strategic priority for Get Golfing. The profit we make from golf, events and food and beverage sales goes back into our charity. That means we can keep developing our programmes to support even more people.
To enable us to achieve our mission we want to create opportunities for our team to grow personally and professionally by creating development pathways and by providing opportunities for staff to be involved in our charitable activities.
