Role Purpose
Ansty Golf Club, Coventry, seeks a Golf Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure excellent service, and enhance the customer experience. The role includes managing staff, primarily on casual contracts, and utilizing ‘Golf Manager’ software for high-quality service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Golf Operations: Manage daily operations, optimize tee-times, ensure smooth course flow, and implement policies to maximize playing opportunities.
- Golf Retail: Oversee golf shop inventory, maintain equipment, and ensure liability forms are signed for buggy rentals.
- Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Lead, train, and supervise the team, handle customer inquiries professionally, and foster an inclusive atmosphere.
- Golf Days & Societies: Manage golf day and society experiences, ensuring value and encouraging repeat bookings, including rental and retail sales.
- Member Engagement: Act as a primary contact for members, manage communications, and coordinate events and competitions to enhance member experience.
- Financial Management & Revenue Optimization: Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and identify profitability improvements.
