Overview

Pyrford Lakes in Woking is seeking Hospitality Shift Leaders to join our team. As a Shift Leader, you\’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clubhouse, lead events, supervise staff, and deliver exceptional service to our guests. Working closely with the Clubhouse Manager, you\’ll support day-to-day clubhouse management and foster a positive, sales-focused, and engaging atmosphere for both our team and our members.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Clubhouse Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the clubhouse.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service to members and guests.
  • Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures that improve efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory, stock control, and ordering to ensure availability while minimising waste.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming clubhouse environment.
  • Help plan, organise, and deliver special events and promotions.
  • Respond to member and guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth operations and outstanding guest experiences.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, ideally in a clubhouse, hotel, or similar setting.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure, effectively handling customer concerns.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness, safety, and presentation.
