Get Golfing CIO is a charity with a mission to make golf more accessible for all.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Creative Marketing Manager to lead and optimise our marketing activity across a range of digital platforms and campaigns.

This role will be instrumental in enhancing customer engagement, promoting our offerings, and driving revenue growth through data-led marketing strategies.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a thriving and innovative organisation which manages and operates 13 sites with 7,000 members and over 160,000 visitors each year.

The successful candidate will be part of a £25m revenue company of 600 people which reinvests profits from its operations into its venues, courses, the development of its people, and importantly, community oriented charitable initiatives local to our sites.

Our model is to maximise revenue through memberships, golf days, retail, events, functions, and F&B.

  • Plan and execute digital campaigns across email, social media, and on our Get Golfing app
  • Work with venue managers to build campaign calendars and support local marketing initiatives
  • Use data and analytics to monitor performance and refine strategies
  • Content Creation & Management
  • Coordinate content production for web, social, email, our app and other channel
  • Design and produce a wide range of visual assets for digital and print marketing using Canva or other design software (e. g., Adobe Photoshop)
  • Develop creative templates for social media, email headers, and our websites to ensure a streamlined and professional aesthetic
  • Create and format physical marketing materials, including posters, brochures, and onsite signage/POS
  • Adapt and resize existing creative assets to fit various platform specifications while maintaining visual integrity
  • Manage internal and external creative resources including photography, video, and design
  • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across platforms including onsite POS
  • Website & SEO
  • Manage and update website content in alignment with SEO best practices
  • Collaborate with developers to improve UX and conversion
  • Monitor site analytics to identify and implement optimisations
  • Community Engagement & Charitable Initiatives
  • Work closely with the Charities and Communities team to promote outreach programmes and fundraising initiatives
  • Create marketing content that highlights our charitable impact
  • Support campaigns aimed at increasing community involvement and awareness of Get Golfing’s mission

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of CRM, marketing automation, and analytics (Hub Spot experience preferred)
  • Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience in the golf, leisure, hospitality, or charity sectors is a plus
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
