Get Golfing CIO is seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our team at Arkley 9 Golf Club for weekend support. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our kitchen, ensuring it meets all health and safety standards. You will work alongside a team of experienced chefs and kitchen staff, gaining valuable experience and knowledge of the food and beverage industry. Requirement for weekend shifts and flexibility during the week, as per the needs of the business.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring all kitchen equipment and utensils are washed, dried, and put away properly.
- Maintaining high levels of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Helping with the preparation and plating of dishes.
- Assisting with stock control and ensuring all deliveries are stored correctly.
- Reporting all maintenance issues to the kitchen manager.
- Monitoring food waste and ensuring it is disposed of safely and correctly.
- Assisting the chefs with basic food preparation tasks.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
