Role Purpose

The Golf Operations Assistant will support the Golf Operations Manager in ensuring smooth and efficient operations for all users of the golf course, providing attentive and efficient service to enhance the overall customer and member experience. The role involves maintaining Get Golfing's golf management software, ‘Golf Manager’, to ensure a high-quality experience for members, guests, and visitors.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Daily Golf Operations: Optimize tee-time reservations to maximize revenue, ensure efficient course flow, and enhance customer experience, including implementing the ‘pairing up’ policy to increase playing opportunities. Monitor pace of play and assist in enforcing course policies.
  • Golf Retail: Contribute to golf retail operations by ensuring the shop inventory is well presented. Maintain golf buggies, rental clubs, and essential equipment in excellent condition. Ensure buggy rentals have signed liability forms at all times.
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Provide excellent service to members and guests. Address inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt resolution. Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment to enhance the clubhouse and golfing experience.
  • Administrative Support: Process payments, memberships, and tournament entries using the golf management system. Maintain accurate records of reservations, rentals, and sales. Assist with reporting and documentation as needed.
