Get Further exists to support young people and adults from underserved backgrounds who left school without GCSE English and maths to gain the qualifications they need to thrive in education, work and life. Each year, over half of young people from underserved backgrounds finish school without these essential qualifications, limiting their access to further study, employment and the opportunities that follow. To tackle this challenge, we partner with FE colleges and other post-16 education providers to deliver expertly designed small-group tutoring — making high-quality, personalised support available to every student, not just those who can afford it.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an ambitious, creative and data-driven Marketing Officer to maintain our digital platforms and lead campaigns that help us reach more students by driving new and renewed partnerships with education providers. In this role, you will design and deliver strategic B2B marketing campaigns for FE colleges, training providers and councils. You will create compelling written, graphic, photographic and video content for our digital channels, and use analytics tools to strengthen and refine performance. You will also collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to source powerful stories from the young people and adults we support, contribute to printed materials and events, and play a key role in ensuring our external communications are impactful, consistent and aligned with our brand.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual who is eager to progress their career in charity communications. You’ll be a creative and compelling storyteller who enjoys taking ownership of projects – from concept, to delivery, to evaluation. You’ll have a strong commitment to delivering excellent campaigns, continuously looking for opportunities to refine your work and contribute to the wider organisation and forward our mission. The role offers meaningful opportunities to grow: you’ll develop new and existing skills and take on increasing responsibility as you shape and deliver campaigns that benefit the young people and adults we support.
