Lead on quality, evaluation and impact at Get Further, driving evidence-based improvements that help more students get further.

Location: London/Remote working. For staff based in London, there are 2 core days per week at our London Office. For staff outside of London, there is more flexibility (with all staff expected to travel to the office at least once per month).

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday). We can discuss flexible working patterns, e.g., school hours, as needed.

Salary: £60,000-65,000 per annum, (including £2k London weighting)

Contract: Permanent Contract

Proposed Start date: February 2026

About the role:

  • Lead Get Further's approach to programme quality, evaluation and impact, ensuring we have a deep understanding of what drives success for our students.
  • Oversee the Impact and Quality Team, managing Senior Data Officers and Curriculum Managers, and championing cross-team collaboration across the charity.
  • Develop and refine our evaluation frameworks, using evidence and data to guide organisational learning and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure programme delivery is high-quality, consistent and impactful, setting clear standards and leading processes for quality assurance.
  • Work closely with the Deputy CEO, COO and Heads of Programmes to embed impact-driven decision-making across delivery and operations.
  • Lead the production of impact reports and evaluation outputs, ensuring insights are shared effectively with funders, partners, policymakers and the Board of Trustees.
  • Use research, analysis and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and strategic growth.
  • Contribute to Get Further's senior leadership team, helping shape the organisation's overall strategy and direction.

  • Proven leadership skills, supporting and motivating colleagues to achieve shared outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Line management experience, or the ability to lead, coach and inspire colleagues effectively.
  • Strong project management skills, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Understanding of the UK education landscape, particularly tuition, pedagogy and curriculum.
  • Desire to learn, develop and advance personal career prospects.
  • Proficiency in data management and analysis tools, alongside strong general IT skills.
  • Familiarity with the Further Education sector.
  • Teaching qualification (Level 3+) or postgraduate degree in a relevant subject.
  • Experience in the charity or education sector.
  • Experience of working on grant funding applications.
  • Experience using impact analysis to support business development or marketing.
  • Experience using Salesforce.
