Get Further is an award‑winning charity tackling educational inequality. As a Lead Tutor, you\'ll deliver impactful tuition to small groups (1–3 students) using our ready‑made resources – while mentoring fellow tutors, supporting quality delivery, and driving student progress.

Requirements
- Commitment to tackling educational inequality
- Excellent communication & mentoring skills
- At least 3 months prior experience tutoring or teaching
- GCSEs (C/4+), A‑Level (B+), degree (2:1 or strong 2:2 considered)
- Minimum 15 hrs/week availability (with 11am‑12pm free Fridays)
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to travel to placement locations (some may require access to a car)
- Previous roles: Senior Tutor, English or Maths Teacher, Learning Mentor, Programme Officer, Education Coordinator, Lead Educator
Salary & Benefits
- £25,600‑£27,100 salary (pro‑rata)
- 36 days annual leave (pro‑rata, incl. bank holidays)

What You\'ll Do
- Deliver weekly maths or English tuition (80% of role)
- Coach and support Flex Tutors through peer mentoring and session observations
- Help develop resources and contribute to tutor training
- Track student attendance and progress
- Champion Get Further\'s mission onsite with students and staff
