We re looking for passionate and reliable tutors to support students in further education to pass their GCSEs or Functional Skills qualifications helping unlock opportunities in work, apprenticeships, and university. One in three students leave school without GCSE English and maths. In the 2023/24 academic year, just 57.6% of students achieved a standard pass in their English Language GCSE, and 55.5% in maths. For young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, the GCSE standard pass rate for learners eligible for free school meals in Wales is 39.7%, compared with a 67.4% overall GCSE pass rate for their peers. The role * Deliver small-group tuition (1 3 students) in English or Maths * Use our ready-made curriculum and resources * Support students to build confidence, skills, and exam readiness * Track attendance and progress * You ll teach on-campus at partner colleges or training providers, during college hours (weekdays 9-5pm).
