The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
SASP are looking to recruit a full-time Health and Wellbeing Coach, with a physical activity focus, to work within the Taunton Dean West Primary Care Network (Wellington and Wiveliscombe). They will provide 1:1 support to people referred to them by team members, group education/coaching workshops and physical activity sessions at community level.
The successful candidates will have good communication, negotiation and people management skills and act with compassion, empathy and integrity. Experience or familiarity with person-centred coaching conversations is desirable.
The post holder will work with a diverse range of people and communities and support them to develop their knowledge, skills and confidence to actively look after their own health and wellbeing through positive behaviour change. A compassionate and practical understanding of the barriers facing those from varied social, economic and cultural backgrounds, or living with long-term health conditions, including mental health issues, will be important.
This is a full-time role with some flexible working, there will be a requirement for some evening and Saturday availability. A core training package, as well as ongoing development opportunities are integral to the role.
