Working side‑by‑side with brokers, customers and internal teams, we shape the right solution, deliver a strong customer experience, and apply smart risk controls and operational discipline to get deals completed smoothly and responsibly.
About The Role
As a Broker Coordinator in our Asset Finance team, you’ll help keep new funding applications moving from first enquiry to signed paperwork. You’ll be one of the first points of contact for applications introduced by our partner introducers, making sure everything is complete, pulling together the key details, and preparing new business reports. You’ll also coordinate the client sign‑up process, keep documents and next steps on track, and work closely with colleagues across sales and operations to ensure every new client is handed over smoothly and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Support with end‑to‑end lead management
- Assist introducers when submitting new applications, helping them get it right first time, every time
- Complete financial analysis of new applications to highlight strengths and weaknesses
- Help identify new opportunities to achieve our growth ambitions
- Support our internal teams throughout entire deal journey, from origination to completion
- Deliver outstanding levels of customer service and help us maintain our 5‑star rating on Trustpilot
- Attend networking events, exhibitions and conferences as and when required
- Keep our records and database accurate and up to date
- Carry out regular research on market, competitors, and opportunities
Key Skills & Knowledge
- Highly organised, accurate and detail‑focused, with strong admin and numeracy skills.
- Keen to learn, ideally with some previous experience in finance or Asset Finance
- Personable and professional, with the confidence to communicate clearly in person, by phone and email
- Commercially minded, with good judgement when weighing up risks and opportunities
- Good at taking a proposal and helping shape it into a clear, workable deal, understanding what we’re lending against and spot any potential issues
- Aware of how contracts and key terms can affect whether payments can be collected
- Able to build a broad understanding of different types of funding, and keep service levels high from start to finish
