As a Warehouse Supervisor at GES, you will oversee the daily operations of the stand fitting warehouse section, ensuring optimal stock levels and accurate alignment with the MIS system (Clarity). Manage staff levels, stock organization, and storage efficiency. Supervise team members to ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and adherence to established processes for all stock handling procedures.
Main Duties include:
- Manage Daily Operations: Proactively assess and oversee daily workload distribution to ensure seamless operations and optimal productivity across the team.
- Maximize Team Efficiency: Inspire your team to perform at their best by ensuring they work in a streamlined and efficient manner, driving overall performance.
- Precision in Stock Handling: Guarantee that all stock is accurately picked, prepared, and dispatched for shows, utilizing Clarity pick lists to maintain flawless inventory management.
- Harness Technology for Inventory Control: Leverage Clarity to expertly manage stock levels, ensuring all inventory requirements are met without delays.
- Seamless Material Flow: Take charge of loading and unloading materials, regardless of their assigned section, ensuring smooth movement of goods across the warehouse.
- Meet Critical Deadlines: Ensure all stock is dispatched, returned, and replenished within specified deadlines to maintain smooth workflow and inventory availability.
- Stock Audits: Perform random stock checks as directed by Warehouse and Stock Control Managers, helping maintain inventory accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
- Ensure Equipment Excellence: Ensure all equipment is regularly maintained, in top condition, and fully compliant with health and safety regulations for smooth, safe operations.
- Accurate Time Management: Verify and submit accurate timesheets for your direct reports, keeping payroll and scheduling efficient.

This role offers a competitive salary, dependent on experience. We operate a reward strategy based on our team members receiving a salary that best reflects their experience and skill level.
Hours of work: Normal working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm. On occasion you may be required to work evenings and weekends during busy periods to meet the demands of the business.
Annual leave: Our holiday entitlement is 25 days per annum (plus bank holidays and statutory public holidays).
