If YES, then this is the opportunity for you! GES are currently looking for an Electrics Coordinator/Administrator to join our Electrics Team based at the Excel in London. Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.

Role Purpose

You will be the main point of contact for the Electrics Team, carrying out coordination and planning preparation tasks and responsibilities. You will work closely with our sub‑contracted partners i.e.; labour, materials, equipment, ensuring excellent relationships are developed and maintained.

What you will do

  • Using Clarity (MIS), complete and obtain data for each show, ensuring correct information is utilised and updated promptly.
  • Prioritise and schedule all tasks according to show dates and plan schedules with the Electrics Team to ensure all deadlines and timescales are met.
  • Working with Show Build Live, carry out and ensure all pre‑show preparation for Electrics is fulfilled.
  • Update and maintain the Electrics team master schedule.
  • Raise pick lists for electrical stock and ensure stock data is accurate at all times.
  • Raise PO(s) where necessary, update our sub‑contractors with PO details and ensure full reconciliation with invoices post show.
  • Book hotels and travel and prepare on‑site files for the Electrics delivery team.
  • Working closely with other Electrics Coordinators to ensure all periods are covered through holiday/absence.
  • Offer operational support to colleagues, particularly with our integral systems such as Clarity and Show Build Live. (Full training provided).
  • Ensuring all email queries are replied to promptly, addressing urgent requests.
  • Ensure correct uniform is available and quantities are ready for the on‑site delivery teams.
  • Collaborate with our Transport colleagues on each event if required.
  • Be instrumental in changes as the Central Planning team evolves.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and deemed necessary of the position.

This role offers a competitive salary, dependent on experience. We operate a reward strategy based on our team members receiving a salary that best reflects their experience and skill level.

Hours of work

Normal working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm. On occasion you may be required to work evenings and weekends during busy periods to meet the demands of the business.

Annual leave

Our holiday entitlement is 25 days per annum (plus bank holidays and statutory public holidays).
