GES are currently recruiting for Graphics Production Packer to join our Graphics team. The purpose of this role to print, finish and pack general graphics for organisers and exhibitors. Candidates should have previous experience in print finishing and packing printed products, although full training will be given.
Due to the nature of the business, in this role you will need to work 6 days per week in May and September, and 3 days per week in July and December. All other months, you will work 5 days per week.

What will you do?
We are looking for an individual who is able to work in fast paced Print Production set-up.
- Carry out the Finishing and Packing of Large Format Printed products
- To carry out production processes in both the general graphics and print department, from Printed to finished product and prioritising workflow in accordance with the schedules on the shop floor.
- Follow schedule instructions for dispatch and ensure items are clearly labelled and defined in respect of show/destination.
- Report any shortfall in stock availability and resources of section and liaise with print/production management
- Display an eye for quality, productivity and health & safety.
- Quality Control. Check the quality of production items prior to dispatch.
- Self-motivated and able to work on your own and as part of a team.
- Flexible with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Adhere to corporate H&S policy including all PPE and corporate clothing requirements and ensure all operatives adhere to the policy too.
- Housekeeping, ensure all areas are always tidy including stock being in the correct position and aisles/access only areas/fire exits are clear of obstructions.
- Flexibility in respect of being asked to undertake a number of different skills or tasks at any time at several different times or locations.
- Perform all duties with the utmost integrity avoiding any conflict of interest between Global experience Specialists (GES) Ltd and clients.
- Represent the Company, as appropriate, in a professional manner. Keep abreast of industry trends and events.
- Perform other duties as assigned and deemed necessary of the position under the direction of the Production Manager.
- Take a participative role in the Companyβs sustainability initiative and ensure where possible your actions support the achievement of this initiative; reuse, recycle and replenish.
