GES is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Operations Coordinator to join our Show Ready team based at the NEC near Birmingham. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for delivering exceptional service to clients worldwide, this is the opportunity for you. Show Ready provides exhibitors with off the shelf stand solutions, complemented by enhancements such as branded furniture, AV and graphics.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Operations Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth administration, coordination and fulfilment of Show Ready packages. The Operations Coordinator is responsible for accurately processing orders, coordinating internal workflows, supporting Project Managers with show preparation and facilitating communication between internal teams, suppliers and clients. This role will also manage travel and accommodation bookings for Project Managers and provide wider administrative support to the Senior Project Manager where required.
Responsibilities
- Interpret confirmed orders from the sales team and input relevant details into Clarity MIS.
- Share artwork specifications and other order-related information with end clients.
- Manage client requirements, ensuring any changes are communicated to the sales team for appropriate action.
- Coordinate with third-party suppliers for platforms, AV, graphics and other elements.
- Coordinate with wider Operations teams, particularly floorcovering and electrics.
- Prepare operational documentation including schedules, pick lists and order information to support Project Managers.
- Maintain accurate records relating to orders, logistics and supplier communication.
- Take ownership of Show Ready administrative processes, including purchase orders, labour coordination, and travel.
