Are you ready to take your process and planning expertise to the next level? GES is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Electrics Planning Manager to join our team based at the Excel, London. If you thrive in a fast‐paced environment and have a passion for delivering exceptional service to clients worldwide, this is the opportunity for you!
Responsibilities
- You will produce the electrical plans for each venue, and calculations for submission as required by each location. This must be carried out within the agreed regulations and timeframes.
- Liaise with stakeholders throughout the business e.g. Account Management to produce the mains requirements and calculations for organisers.
- Working with our sub‐contractors and Electrical Planners, manage the allocation and management of GES' Electrical stock (South).
- You will be a point of resource and contact for our sub‐contracted partners i.e. labour, materials, equipment, ensuring excellent relationships are maintained and a high procurement status is maintained at all times.
- Assist the Delivery team with Electrical expertise and onsite as agreed with the Senior Electrics Planning Manager.
- Working with GES Show Build Live, ensure all pre‐show preparation is accurate in accordance with our SOP's and processes.
- Ensure PO's are raised to secure labour, products and services in accordance with our SOP. Carry out full reconciliation with invoices post show.
- Using our MIS system Clarity, complete, update and retrieve data for each show, ensuring correct information is utilised. Work closely with stakeholders around the business and the Senior Electrics Planning Manager to ensure Clarity is up to date at all times and other relevant tasks to support the system.
- Ensure queries and requests are replied to promptly, addressing urgent enquiries.
- Ensure correct uniform is available for our sub‐contractors and delivery teams.
- Liaise closely with stakeholders throughout the business, including the Commercial, Financial teams and the Service Centre.
- Always ensure revenue data streams match, and liaise with stakeholders as necessary.

Salary
This role offers a competitive salary, dependent on experience. We operate a reward strategy based on our team members receiving a salary that best reflects their experience and skill level.
Hours of Work
Normal working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm. On occasion you may be required to work evenings and weekends during busy periods to meet the demands of the business.
Annual Leave
Our holiday entitlement is 25 days per annum (plus bank holidays and statutory public holidays).
