This is a fixed term position for up to 12 months.
GES is a global full-service provider for the exhibitions industry. We deliver extraordinary event experiences through partnership-driven productions.
As a 3D Designer at GES, you will work within the Features team, providing 3D designs for exhibition organisers feature areas, producing technical production ready technical drawings. You will also provide a mix of marketing collateral for events and exhibitions design and company proposals.
Main Responsibilities- Provide 3D designs from a brief, supplying them as individual drawings and part of a presentation pack to recognised production methods.
- Ensure all deadlines are met for 3D designs, proofing, design concepts and sign off process.
- Ensure all schedules are kept up to date and accessible on server.
- Keep strong communication with Graphics/Features Project Managers and production department and keep updated with deadline/schedule changes.
- Keep all files backed up in correct format and archived in line with the procedures in the dept.
- Make sure all design hours are allocated to correct projects and job numbers.
- Be fully aware of the FTP procedures for incoming and outgoing data.
- Actively engage in continuous improvement ensuring suggestions and opportunities are highlighted to your line manager.
You will be required to develop and maintain positive and progressive working relationships both internally and externally, in order to facilitate growth and integration across the business.

This role offers a competitive salary, dependent on experience. We operate a reward strategy based on our team members receiving a salary that best reflects their experience and skill level.
Hours of workNormal working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm. On occasion you may be required to work evenings and weekends during busy periods to meet the demands of the business.
Annual leaveOur holiday entitlement is 25 days per annum (plus bank holidays and statutory public holidays).
