Location: Based in or daily commutable to an active project site in one of the following regions: Netherlands, Denmark, Germany (e.g., Frankfurt), Norway, or UK.
Role Summary: The Project Engineering Lead (PEL) / Commissioning Manager will be responsible for driving the successful commissioning and handover of complex, mission-critical infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on data centres. The role requires solid experience in managing the commissioning process within an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) model and ensuring clear communication across all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the commissioning delivery on data centre projects, ensuring successful execution from low-level activities up to Integrated Systems Testing (IST) (L0–L5).
- Manage and coordinate the flow of information between design, construction, and commissioning teams, including dealing effectively with sub-contractors.
- Act as the primary interface with clients and stakeholders to define project scope, execute, and deliver projects to the client's brief.
- Oversee the testing, documentation, design reviews, and phased handovers of critical systems, including HV/LV, UPS, cooling, and BMS/EPMS.
- Ensure all project objectives—including safety, schedule, cost control, and quality—are monitored, measured, and tracked throughout the full project cycle.
