We are seeking a talented Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer to join our Engineering team and help develop the next generation of cutting‑edge subsea instrumentation — including acoustic modems, velocity logs, data loggers and other advanced sensing products. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full hardware lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and support, in a highly innovative environment.
You will bring strong experience in digital (FPGA/MPU) and analogue circuit design, with a focus on low‑power, low‑noise systems. You will be comfortable leading hardware design reviews, comparing engineering approaches, and selecting the best solutions for performance, reliability, and manufacturability. A solid understanding of EMC principles, design‑for‑compliance, and hands‑on EMC testing is essential.
The ideal candidate will also have embedded experience in C and/or C++, along with practical debugging skills across both hardware and firmware. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to well‑structured, supportable and extensible designs. A proactive approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to produce clear, accurate documentation are vital.
Although this is not a line‑management role, you will provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support across engineering and production, maintaining quality and driving continuous improvement.
