Looking to work on cutting-edge electric vehicle technology? Were seeking a practical, hands-on Product Validation Technician wholl also step up as Test Equipment Manager. This is your chance to build prototype in-wheel motors, assemble electronics, set up tests, and keep the lab running at peak performance.
What youll do:
Assemble and test prototype motors and electronic modules to the highest standards.
Design, build and set up test equipment, jigs and fixtures.
Carry out product validation and verification tests.
Create build documentation and detailed test reports.
Support the development of robust test strategies for new products.
What youll bring:
HNC / Tech Level IV+ in a relevant technical field.
Proven experience as an electromechanical technician in R&D or product development.
Confident using lab test equipment: oscilloscopes, meters, dataloggers.
Skilled in soldering, wiring, and testing low voltage motors/inverters.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Highly organised, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.
IPC 610 certification and experience in ISO9001 environments.
