Are you an Electronics Design Engineer looking for the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology with global applications? Join an innovative engineering team responsible for designing, developing and improving advanced fibre laser systems used across a wide range of industries. This is a key role supporting the introduction of exciting new products and helping shape the future of high-performance manufacturing technology.

As an Electronics Design Engineer, you'll be involved throughout the product development lifecycle from creating designs and developing PCBs through to supporting manufacturing and product implementation.

The role:

  • Create electronic schematics from technical requirements
  • Design complex multi-layer PCBs using Altium Designer (up to 10 layers)
  • Develop PCB layouts, including split plane designs
  • Convert existing PCB designs into Altium Designer
  • Manage PCB libraries, including symbol and footprint creation
  • Produce manufacturing documentation, including BOMs
  • Support new product introductions and continuous improvement activities

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience in schematic capture and PCB layout design using Altium Designer
  • Experience designing multi-layer PCBs
  • Knowledge of PCB library management and BOM processes
  • A strong understanding of electronics design principles and manufacturing requirements

Desirable experience:

  • IPC standards for PCB design and manufacture
  • EMC-aware design practices
  • SMT soldering and rework
  • Cable and wiring loom design
  • PCB debugging and fault finding
