  • Execute hands-on testing across electrical, mechanical and embedded systems
  • Capture, analyse and report results with clear traceability to requirements
  • Support DVP&R activities and validation milestones
  • Carry out safety risk assessments and ensure safe execution of testing
  • Develop test tools, scripts and automation to improve efficiency
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Support regulatory and certification testing requirements
  • Contribute to building in-house test capability

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Background as a Senior Technician or Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Automotive Engineering
  • Experience in validation, verification or test engineering within EV, energy or industrial systems
  • Strong understanding of system-level validation and test methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with embedded systems and communication interfaces
  • Proven ability to build, wire and configure test setups and prototypes
  • Experience analysing test data and producing clear outputs
  • Familiarity with safety risk assessment in a test environment
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Desirable:

  • EV charging systems or protocols (OCPP / OCPI)
  • Battery systems or power electronics
  • IoT systems, telemetry or cloud integration
  • Test automation or scripting (Python or similar)
  • Exposure to regulatory compliance and certification testing

Who You Are

  • Hands-on and practical; enjoys building and solving real engineering problems
  • Self-sufficient; able to take ownership in a process-light environment
  • Detail-focused; strong approach to documentation, traceability and quality
  • Adaptable; comfortable working in a scaling, fast-moving business

Why Join TUAL?
