Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating design activities within multidisciplinary project teams to meet programme milestones
  • Producing and reviewing CAD models, detailed drawings, and supporting technical documentation
  • Supporting and participating in design reviews, ensuring risks, assumptions, and actions are clearly managed
  • Liaising with internal teams, suppliers, and clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Managing time, priorities, and technical inputs to support delivery to schedule and budget
  • Supporting technical discussions with customers and external partners as required
  • Ensuring engineering activities comply with relevant industry standards and internal quality processes
About You
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (2:1 or above) or equivalent qualification; relevant industry experience will also be considered
  • Proven project engineering experience within sectors such as automotive, aerospace, or defence
  • Good working knowledge of mechanisms and materials
  • Strong ability to apply engineering first principles to complex technical challenges
  • Experience using Catia V5 and/or 3DEXPERIENCE is desirable but not essential
Personal Attributes
  • Collaborative and team-focused approach
  • Clear and confident communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proactive, well-organised, and comfortable taking ownership of tasks
