PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, this is a unique opportunity to join the purchasing team in an exclusive automotive environment which is undergoing a transformation and rapid growth in response to its critically acclaimed global products and best-in-class performance.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • You will be responsible for the effective support of the Purchasing team in daily administration tasks:
  • SAP maintenance - materials prices updates, vendor database, reporting
  • Invoices reconciliation
  • Database management - analysis, cleansing and consolidation
  • Supplier meetings data preparation and overall support
  • Daily purchasing activities - orders, room booking

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Business Knowledge: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook - advanced user
  • SAP environment knowledge or other MRP will be an advantage
  • Personal attributes: Excellent organisational skills, deadline adherence and exceptional attention to accuracy and detail
  • Time management - able to self-organise the work content
  • Enthusiastic and with a high level of self-motivation to overcome obstacles
