Janspeed Technologies Limited have been a leading manufacturer of bespoke and performance exhaust systems since 1962. We are recruiting for a Quality Manager to join the company in Salisbury.
Position Overview
The Quality Manager is responsible for leading all quality, environmental, and health & safety management activities within the automotive manufacturing facility. This includes ownership of the Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and support for the site Health & Safety framework, ensuring full compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and legal safety requirements.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Environmental Science, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Professional Experience: 5+ years automotive quality experience, including 2+ years in leadership. Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001. Experience supporting Health & Safety activities or compliance. Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, auditing, and corrective action.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer management.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Proficiency in Excel, Minitab, or similar.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internal Auditor certification for ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or ISO 14001.
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.
- OEM experience.
- Knowledge of environmental and safety legislation.
