My client is searching for a Project Delivery Lead to join the business on a permanent basis. Responsible for overseeing and advocating the delivery of successful technical and commercial Connected and Automated Mobility (CAM) project outcomes in the automotive manufacturing sector, with a strong emphasis on technical knowledge and Product Development. Be a key liaison between the company and consortium partners, stakeholders and industry experts driving growth, mentoring and guiding organisations to ensure successful delivery of high-impact R&D and capital projects that are transforming the future of automotive manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a variety of high-impact R&D and capital projects throughout their lifecycle, from bid phase to successful conclusion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consortium partners, project stakeholders, and industry collaborators.
- Actively engage with key figures across the automotive sector and academic institutions to strengthen networks and increase capability.
- Champion successful technical and commercial outcomes across all partner organisations into APC/Zenzic and wider stakeholder groups.
- Represent the team in both formal and informal partner meetings, leading discussions and delivering presentations as required.
- Deliver timely and accurate reporting on project performance, highlighting critical success factors and potential dependencies, risks and technical challenges.
- Interpret and contribute to detailed financial forecasts, across your projects for in year budget reporting.
Person Specification – Experience, Knowledge and Skills
- Demonstrable engineering experience in some of the following: ADAS development, E‑Machines, Power Electronics, Robotics, Automotive Electrical Engineering, Automotive Embedded and Software, Electronic system engineering, Machine Learning, Software Over The Air (SOTA), Firmware Over the Air (FOTA), Cyber security.
- Demonstrable experience in technical project management or technical leadership ideally within the automotive or advanced manufacturing sectors.
- Experience with risk management, technical leadership and quality assurance.
- Proven track record of successful delivery in Product Development or Research & Development (R&D) environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and stakeholder communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
- Willingness to travel to support partner engagement and project delivery.
