We're looking for an experienced Product Manager to take technical ownership of a portfolio of advanced engineering products throughout their lifecycle, from production through to customer support and future product development. This is an exciting opportunity to work with multidisciplinary engineering teams, driving product performance, continuous improvement and long-term technology strategy within a high-reliability engineering environment.
What you'll do:
- Own the technical lifecycle of a portfolio of complex engineering products
- Develop and deliver the product roadmap and future capability strategy
- Support the transition of new products into manufacture
- Provide technical leadership to manufacturing and resolve production challenges
- Lead engineering change, configuration management and product improvement activities
- Monitor field performance and drive reliability and performance enhancements
- Support customer demonstrations, technical discussions, testing and operational trials
- Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Business Development teams
What we're looking for:
- Degree in Engineering, Physics or a related discipline
- Strong 3D CAD experience (Inventor preferred)
- Significant experience managing technically complex engineered products
- Proven experience supporting products in manufacture and operational service
- Experience transitioning products from development into production
- Strong knowledge of engineering change control and configuration management
- Experience investigating and resolving technical or production issues
- Customer-facing technical leadership experience
- Background in defence or other high-reliability engineering sectors
Desirable:
- Experience with sonar, underwater acoustics or sensing technologies
- Knowledge of autonomous or remotely operated systems
- Understanding of defence standards and product qualification processes

Please note: This is an on-site role based in north Hampshire. The successful candidate must be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance and will need to demonstrate five years' UK residency.
