We’re a fast-growing start-up entering an exciting new phase in the energy sector, and we’re looking for a Field Service Engineer to help build, shape, and lead our technical support function from day one. About the Role
As a founding member of the technical support team, you’ll play a critical role in developing our customer service capability. You’ll work hands‑on with customers while also helping define the systems, processes, and strategy that will support our growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a robust support system, capturing repair data and known fixes
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to improve service delivery and knowledge sharing
- Conduct site visits to diagnose, repair, and support installations
- Provide clear, actionable feedback to engineering teams to drive product improvements
- Develop documentation, processes, and customer support best practices
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams
- Contribute to team development and future growth strategy
What We’re Looking For
- A proactive, problem‑solving mindset with strong diagnostic skills
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving start‑up environment

Experience & Qualifications
- Full, clean driving licence (essential)
- Experience with high‑voltage systems, electric vehicles, or EV charging infrastructure (highly desirable)
- Background in field service, mobile support, or breakdown operations (3+ years preferred)
- Experience with remote diagnostics and troubleshooting tools
- Electrical qualifications (commercial or industrial) are advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or similar productivity tools
- Experience using CRM or service management systems is a plus
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
