Gerrell and Hard are delighted to be supporting Janspeed to recruit an Engineering Manager to lead and develop their engineering function.
This is a genuinely hands-on technical leadership role - ideal for someone with a strong background in automotive exhaust systems, powertrain or vehicle development who wants to take the next step without moving away from the engineering.
You'll lead a small team, work directly with prestige OEM customers, support RFQs and technical reviews, and take ownership of engineering delivery from concept through to manufacturing.
What we're looking for:
- Strong automotive engineering background, ideally exhaust / powertrain
- Principal, Lead or Senior Engineer ready to step into management - or an experienced Engineering Manager
- Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA and DFM
- Strong understanding of product development, validation and manufacturing
- Confident working with customers and cross-functional teams
- A pragmatic, commercially aware approach
- Someone who leads from the front and isn't afraid to muck in
