CATIA V5 Design Engineer – Contract
Location: Near Billingshurst
Rate: £40–£45 per hour Ltd
IR35: Outside IR35
Contract: Initial 3 months, expected to continue longer term
Working: Hybrid
We’re currently recruiting for a CATIA V5 Design Engineer to join an engineering team working across a range of projects within defence, marine and automotive.
The role will involve working on a range of complex engineering projects, with a strong focus on heavy-duty mechanical design and detailed component development.
The Role
This is a hands‑on mechanical design role suited to someone with a strong background in heavy-duty mechanical design and experience working with complex mechanical systems.
Your background could include the design of:
- Chassis systems
- Powertrain components
- Heavy-duty mechanical components
- Hydraulic or pneumatic systems
Experience with hydraulics and/or pneumatics would be particularly relevant.
About You
We’re looking for an experienced CATIA V5 Design Engineer with:
- Strong mechanical design experience using CATIA V5
- A background in heavy-duty mechanical design
- Experience designing complex mechanical components and systems
- Chassis or powertrain design experience would transfer well
- Hydraulics or pneumatics experience would be advantageous
This is an initial 3-month contract, with the expectation that the project will continue longer term.
