Perceived Quality Senior Engineer

Perceived Quality (PQ) Engineer Interior Trim Department: Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Reports To: Head of AME (PQ Lead Engineer manages daily activities) We are seeking a Perceived Quality (PQ) Engineer, targeting Senior Engineer level however we can consider Principal Engineer also to join the dynamic AME team, part of the Advanced Product Creation (APC) Department. This role will focus on supporting the development of Interior Trim Perceived Quality (PQ) during the design stages of vehicle programs. You will work closely with the PQ Lead Engineer to ensure high-quality standards are met for new vehicle concepts. Key Responsibilities: Support the PQ Lead Engineer in developing PQ techniques and processes for Interior Trim. Use CATIA V5/V6 to create and manipulate geometry for Gap & Rad planning and PQ requirements (50% of time). Review and validate system integration for Interior themes. Assist with part and assembly maturation processes, offering root cause analysis for design and production concerns. Mentor and transfer PQ knowledge to engineering teams, ensuring designs meet PQ targets. Support digital reviews, sign-offs, and the creation of Product Attribute Targets.
